Volleyball Game Preview: Fairview Knights vs. Horizon Hawks + How To Watch

Fairview is 2-7 against Horizon since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Knights will host the Hawks at 12:00 p.m. Horizon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairview, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with ten defeats in a row, Fairview turned things around against Skyline on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons.

Fairview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-22.

Horizon had taken Monarch down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Hawks fell 3-1 to the Coyotes.

While Horizon ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 24-26, 25-17, 25-18.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Fairview, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 5-17.
