Basketball Recap: Columbus Grove Takes a Loss

Columbus Grove suffered their closest loss since January 12, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ottoville Big Green by a score of 44-42. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Big Green recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Columbus Grove now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Ottoville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus Grove will challenge Continental at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ottoville, they will head out to take on Kalida at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
