Softball Recap: Broome Takes a Loss

If Broome was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Spartanburg on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Centurions came up short against the Chesnee Eagles on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The loss continues a trend for the Centurions in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Broome's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Chesnee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broome will host Mountain View Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chesnee, they will welcome High Point Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
