Basketball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Danbury can now relate to. They lost 69-44 to the Northwest Catholic Lions on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Hatters can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Lions are ranked third).

Danbury dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Northwest Catholic, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.

Danbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Catholic, they will take on East Catholic on Thursday.
