Volleyball Game Preview: Carver High School of Engineering & Science vs. Academy at Palumbo Griffin

After both having extra time off, Carver High School of Engineering & Science and the Academy at Palumbo Griffin will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Carver High School of Engineering & Science came up short against Central and fell 3-1. While Carver High School of Engineering & Science didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Central 25-20 in the first set.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-15, 25-21, 26-24.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Anthony Farfan, who had 15 digs.

Meanwhile, Academy at Palumbo posted their closest win since April 12, 2024 last Friday. They skirted past Masterman 3-2. The Griffin haven't had any issues with Masterman recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Academy at Palumbo back to even at 5-5. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science skirted past Academy at Palumbo 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March. Does Carver High School of Engineering & Science have another victory up their sleeve, or will Academy at Palumbo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
