Softball Recap: Triad Cardinals vs. Springfield Wildcats
It was a proper cat-fight when Triad challenged Springfield on Thursday. Triad came up short against Springfield, falling 15-3. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Triad saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Martin, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Riley Haser was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
