Volleyball Game Preview: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Glenwood Springs Demons

The Eagle Valley Devils will square off against the Glenwood Springs Demons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Eagle Valley is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Battle Mountain just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 21-25, 25-15.

The losing side was boosted by Reese Wright, who had 14 digs.

Meanwhile, Glenwood Springs suffered their biggest defeat since November 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Battle Mountain, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Demons haven't been shut out since back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-15.

Glenwood Springs' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for Eagle Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Eagle Valley took their win against Glenwood Springs in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
