Recap: Potomac Falls Panthers vs. Mountain View Wildcats
On Wednesday, Potomac Falls really took it to Mountain View for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-20 victory on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-9.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potomac Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Johnny Opiola, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of David Marshall, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Potomac Falls and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potomac Falls is on the road again on Friday and play against Eastern Mennonite at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Mountain View, they will face off against Rock Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
