Baseball Recap: Woodbridge Comes Up Short

Woodbridge lost against Gainesville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings fell 6-1 to the Cardinals. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Woodbridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Young, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Woodbridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Gainesville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

As for Gainesville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Gainesville Cardinals take on Unity Reed Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. They are facing Unity Reed at the right time seeing as Unity Reed is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
