Volleyball Recap: Santa Maria Comes Up Short

Santa Maria lost against Valley Christian Academy back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saints fell 2-0 to the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21.

Santa Maria has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Valley Christian Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Santa Maria will head out on the road to take on Dunn at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Valley Christian Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Cabrillo on the 13th.
