James Main posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 18 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Main and Wheeler will look to defend their home field on Monday against Grasso Tech at 4:00 p.m. The Lions are a perfect 10-0 against the Eagles going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
