Basketball Recap: Harmony Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Harmony hadn't done well against Chapel Hill recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Harmony Eagles strolled past the Chapel Hill Red Devils with points to spare, taking the game 44-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 29-11 on January 11th.

Harmony is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.2 points per game. As for Chapel Hill, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony will host Daingerfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harmony has three straight wins, Daingerfield has 21 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court. As for Chapel Hill, they will be playing at home against Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Chapel Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
