Football Recap: Nicholas County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Nicholas County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 46-12 loss at the hands of the Paris Greyhounds. The loss continues a trend for the Bluejackets in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost four in a row.

Xavier Brown had an outrageously good game for Paris as he rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 171 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes. The Greyhounds' leading receiver Brandon Smith-Santiago was Brown's top target yet again, picking up 63 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nicholas County fell to 7-1. As for Paris, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coincidentally, Nicholas County and Paris will both be playing Raceland the next time they take the field. The Greyhounds will head out to face the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bluejackets will host them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
