Softball Preview: Shadyside Tigers vs. Beallsville Blue Devils

Shadyside is a perfect 7-0 against Beallsville since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Shadyside came up short against Bridgeport and fell 8-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ariana Saxton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
