Softball Recap: Strafford Comes Up Short

Strafford lost against Diamond back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Strafford fell 8-4 to Diamond. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Strafford saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayliegh Lexa, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Strafford's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Diamond, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Strafford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-7 victory against Springfield Catholic on the 25th. As for Diamond, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Forsyth on the 24th.
