Pleasant Grove is  a perfect 10-0 against American Fork since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Cavemen  at 3:30  p.m. Pleasant Grove is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7  runs per game  this season.
On Friday, Pleasant Grove needed a bit of extra time to put away Westlake. They had just enough and edged out the Thunder  4-3. The  win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won six in a row.
 Keslie Draney spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Maile Larsen, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Aniston Norton, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs.
 Pleasant Grove  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westlake struck out six times.
 Meanwhile, American Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They came up short against  Hunter, falling  10-2.
 Pleasant Grove's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 19-6. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for American Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.
American Fork's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Pleasant Grove has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 12  hits per game. It's a different story for American Fork, though, as  they've been averaging 10.8  hits. Given Pleasant Grove's sizable advantage in that area, the Cavemen will need to find a way to close that gap.
 Pleasant Grove took their  victory against American Fork  in their previous matchup  two weeks ago by a conclusive  15-3 score. Do  the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavemen turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
