Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls, falling 17-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 last Tuesday.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Anderson-Shiro, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will head out to face off against Coldspring-Oakhurst at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will venture away from home to square off against Franklin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
