Baseball Game Preview: Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs vs. Lewiston-Altura Cardinals

The Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs will square off against the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewiston-Altura took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Plainview-Elgin-Millville, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Plainview-Elgin-Millville earned a 9-5 win over Caledonia.

Meanwhile, Lewiston-Altura fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Blooming Prairie on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 10-7 to the Awesome Blossoms. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lewiston-Altura's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville couldn't quite finish off Lewiston-Altura in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
