El Camino Real is 8-1 against Taft since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Toreadors at 7:15 p.m. El Camino Real will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

El Camino Real lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Chatsworth, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Royals breezed past the Chancellors to the tune of 46-6 on Friday. Considering the Royals have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Raul Berdon had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 97 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries.

Berdon was just one part of a punishing run game: El Camino Real was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. The Royals are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, Taft hadn't done well against Cleveland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Toreadors walked away with a 21-13 win over the Cavaliers.

El Camino Real now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Taft, their record is now 6-3.

El Camino Real took their victory against Taft in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 37-12 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
