Rogers takes loss despite strong efforts from Dylan Gilderhus and Jakeem Richardson

The Rogers Rams pushed their score all the way to 59 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Graham-Kapowsin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rogers in their matchups with Graham-Kapowsin: they've now lost five in a row.
Rogers' loss came despite strong showings from Jakeem Richardson and Dylan Gilderhus. Richardson scored 18 points along with five rebounds, while Gilderhus scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Richardson scored 15 or more points. Ryan Avary was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Rogers now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Graham-Kapowsin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-8.
Rogers will head out on the road to face off against Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kametrius Babbs and Treyshawn Weatherspoon. As for Graham-Kapowsin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Emerald Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
