Baseball Recap: Fleming Island Takes a Loss

Fleming Island was the 12-1 winner over Beachside when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Fleming Island lost 10-2 to Beachside on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fleming Island saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Kiley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Fleming Island's record is now 5-12. As for Beachside, their win bumped their record up to 4-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fleming Island will venture away from home to take on Bartram Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beachside, they will head out to square off against Orange Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give Beachside their first taste of in-conference action this season.
