Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin fell victim to Eagle Rock and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in April.

Franklin has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Eagle Rock, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Lincoln on the 9th. As for Eagle Rock, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Wilson on the 9th.
