Forsyth Home Educators' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Greater Cabarrus S with a sharp 9-0 victory. Considering Forsyth Home Educators have won four contests by more than five goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Greater Cabarrus S from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. McKaylen Fields led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Asheville HomeSchool had to start their season on the road back in March, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Forsyth Home Educators.

Forsyth Home Educators' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Asheville HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Forsyth Home Educators beat Asheville HomeSchool 5-3 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
