            Volleyball Recap: Bret Harte Bullfrogs vs. Calaveras Red Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            Bret Harte lost against Calaveras back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Bullfrogs came up short against  the Red Hawks, falling  3-0. The Bullfrogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Bret Harte couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-24,  25-15.
  Isabelle Saiers was a one-woman wrecking crew For Calaveras. as she  had 18  digs and two  aces. Saiers has been hot recently, having  posted 18 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.  Julianne Pettitt also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Bret Harte's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Calaveras, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record  this season.
 Bret Harte has already played their next matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Linden on the 14th. As for Calaveras, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-1  win against Summerville on the 14th.
