Softball Recap: Academic Magnet Takes a Loss

Academic Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Woodland Wolverines.

Academic Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Woodland, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Academic Magnet will head out to challenge Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodland, they will host Wagener-Salley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodland's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Wagener-Salley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
