If Bret Harte wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Calaveras, they should've done a better job of containing Isabelle Saiers. The Red Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bullfrogs on Thursday thanks in part to Saiers, who had 18 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, 25-15.

Calaveras is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Bret Harte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Calaveras wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Summerville on the 14th. As for Bret Harte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Linden on the 14th.
