Basketball Game Preview: Norview Pilots vs. Denbigh Patriots

The Norview Pilots just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Denbigh Patriots at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Norview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Denbigh likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Norview was able to grind out a solid win over Norcom, taking the game 57-46. Given the Pilots' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Greyhounds are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Denbigh, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 41-31 victory over Warwick on Thursday.

Denbigh has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Norview, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
