Linden and Woodland squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Linden had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 15-5. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Brody Black made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Trujillo, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Linden's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Woodland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-8.

Linden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-5 defeat against Lincoln on the 12th.
