Sugar-Salem posted their closest win since September 17, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Blackfoot Broncos 2-1. The Diggers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Sugar-Salem's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Blackfoot, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Sugar-Salem has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Twin Falls on the 20th. As for Blackfoot, they will venture away from home to take on Idaho Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
