Volleyball Recap: Stringer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Stringer and Ethel squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Stringer had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Stringer wouldn't go down easily and took Ethel into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 12-25, 15-11.

Stringer moved to 13-15 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Ethel, they pushed their record up to 25-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Stringer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ethel, they will be playing at home against Resurrection Catholic on Monday.
