Final Small Schools National Football Rankings

Marion Local finishes at No. 1 after winning Ohio state championship.

Marion Local (Maria Stein, Ohio), which captured the Ohio Division VII state championship with a perfect 15-0 record, finishes the season as the No. 1 ranked small schools team in the country, according to the MaxPreps Computer Rankings.

Marion Local edged Kingfisher (Okla.) and Cameron Yoe (Cameron) for the top spot. The Flyers were ranked No. 2 in the previous Small Schools rankings in November.

The small schools national rankings are comprised of teams that play in state enrollment divisions that generally have less than 1,000 students.
