Basketball Recap: Lacey Township Comes Up Short

Lacey Township lost against Barnegat back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lacey Township Lions took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barnegat Bengals.

Lacey Township has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Barnegat, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Lacey Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-42 loss against Donovan Catholic on the 22nd. As for Barnegat, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-53 victory against Point Pleasant Boro on the 22nd.
