Jorja Wheeler put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She was dominant the last time she took on Brighton back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Wheeler has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
