It's playoff time, and St. Mary had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Xaverian Clippers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on six straight.
St. Mary's walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 16-25, 25-20, 25-15.
Sarina Notaro was nothing short of spectacular: she had 29 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.
St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 39-1-2. As for Xaverian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
