Baseball Recap: Yucaipa's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Yucaipa extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 17-9 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Cajon Cowboys. This was a revenge game for the Thunderbirds: when they faced off against the Cowboys back in April, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Yucaipa got a great performance from Logan Pashman as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Damian Cordero was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

As for Cajon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

On Cajon's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Yucaipa will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cowboys: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
