Basketball Game Preview: Tuttle Tigers vs. Newcastle Racers

Tuttle and Newcastle are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Tuttle Tigers will welcome the Newcastle Racers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Tuttle came up short against Plainview and fell 47-40. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while the Indians are ranked 186th).

Meanwhile, Newcastle unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of MacArthur.

Tuttle dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Newcastle, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
