Recap: Hough Huskies vs. Lake Norman Charter Knights
The Hough Huskies were the 71-47 winner over the Lake Norman Charter Knights when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Hough fell 62-52 to Lake Norman Charter on Tuesday. Hough's defeat keeps them winless this season.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cole Galombeck, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cole Skovira, who scored 12 points.
Lake Norman Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braden Wilkie, who scored 19 points. Braylon Irelan was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 assists.
Hough's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Norman Charter, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Hough will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cox Mill at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Cox Mill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Wednesday. As for Lake Norman Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against West Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
