Dixie is 9-1 against Whitmire since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Dixie will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Dixie will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Calhoun Falls Charter, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Dixie strolled past Calhoun Falls Charter with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 36-22.

Dixie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but LaNya Dotson led the charge by putting up 13 points. The dominant performance gave Dotson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kerrie O'Shields, who posted 11 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitmire). They really took it to South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-5 victory. With the Wolverines ahead 44-2 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Whitmire found their leader in sophomore Brooklynn Babb, who went 16 for 24 on her way to 32 points in addition to five assists and four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Babb has scored at least a third of Whitmire's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brantlee Roche, who put up nine points and seven assists.
Whitmire was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 0 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 5.9.
Dixie pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.5 points. As for Whitmire, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14.
Everything came up roses for Dixie against Whitmire in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-22 win. Will Dixie repeat their success, or does Whitmire have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
