Volleyball Recap: Bushland Falcons vs. Peaster Greyhounds
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bushland had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Peaster Greyhounds. The Falcons are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 24 straight.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-17.
Despite the defeat, Peaster had strong showings from Kyler Shirley, who had 13 digs, and Hinslie McCormick, who had nine digs.
Bushland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 26 of their last 27 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 43-4 record this season. As for Peaster, they moved to 32-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
Bushland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ponder at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ponder will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bushland surely won't give up without a fight. Peaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
