Pekin and Metamora are an even 3-3-1 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Dragons will be playing at home against the Redbirds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Pekin didn't have quite enough to beat Moline and fell 2-1. Pekin have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Metamora kept a clean sheet against Canton on Tuesday. They blew past the Little Giants 7-0. Metamora haven't had any issues with Canton recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Metamora's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5-1. As for Pekin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Pekin came out on top in a nail-biter against Metamora when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Redbirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
