Basketball Recap: David Anderson Takes a Loss

David Anderson lost against Columbiana back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The David Anderson Blue Devils were beaten by the Columbiana Clippers 59-10. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 737th, while the Clippers are ranked 125th).

Jayden Smyth was David Anderson's leading scorer, having posted four points.

David Anderson is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8. As for Columbiana, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. David Anderson will take on Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbiana, they will square off against United at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Columbiana's defense has only allowed 24 points per game this season, so United's offense will have their work cut out for them.
