Volleyball Game Preview: Grafton Bearcats vs. Fairmont Senior Polar Bears

The Grafton Bearcats will square off against the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Tuesday, Grafton came up short against Tyler and fell 2-0.

While Grafton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Fairmont Senior had to endure a nine-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against East Fairmont by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Fairmont Senior had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Fairmont Senior's win bumped their record up to 8-23. As for Grafton, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.
