They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ridgeland-Hardeeville 42-40. Given Allendale-Fairfax's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Ridgeland-Hardeeville is ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
