Baseball Recap: Del Norte Falls Short of Kelseyville in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Del Norte can now relate to. They came up short against the Kelseyville Knights on Tuesday, falling 12-1. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 5-4 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Del Norte saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Daniels, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Del Norte has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-8-1 record this season. As for Kelseyville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kelseyville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-4 loss against Marin Catholic on the 23rd.
