Softball Recap: Manchester Squires vs. Fremont Eagles

Manchester had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 4-5 to make it four. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-8 to the Fremont Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-8 on Saturday.

Hadley West and Izzy Renz stepped up to the plate in a big way. West went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Renz went 1-for-4 with one home run. Allie Egolf was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
