Baseball Recap: Huffman Has No Trouble Against Jackson-Olin

Huffman lost to Jackson-Olin back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Mekhidric Jackson was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Darius Hall was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple and two RBI.

Huffman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Huffman's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Jackson-Olin, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-25.

Coming up, Huffman will square off against Pell City at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson-Olin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
