Baseball Game Preview: Berkshire School Bears vs. Hotchkiss School Bearcats

The Berkshire School Bears will head out to take on the Hotchkiss School Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Berkshire School is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Berkshire School came up short against Canterbury School and fell 5-2.

Berkshire School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Rosales, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Meanwhile, Hotchkiss School scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 15-8 to Loomis Chaffee School. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hotchkiss School's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Berkshire School, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Berkshire School was able to grind out a solid victory over Hotchkiss School in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
