Rapides has gone a perfect 4-0 against Plainview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will head out to face off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Rapides is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Rapides came into this matchup off a tough 45-point defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Buckeye by a score of 40-38 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Mustangs have suffered since January 17th.

Meanwhile, Plainview came up short against Lacassine on Saturday and fell 65-55. The Hornets have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Rapides, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Rapides didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Plainview when the teams last played back in March of 2024, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
