Softball Recap: Twin Lakes Indians vs. Delphi Community Oracles
Twin Lakes made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Delphi Community, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Oracles by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Oracles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Twin Lakes saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Oliver, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double. Jasmine West also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Twin Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Delphi Community, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Lakes will head out to challenge Lafayette Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Delphi Community, they will head out on the road to square off against Clinton Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
