Basketball Recap: Maddy Eford and Riley Gallagher Secure Win for Lovett + How To Watch

After only 23 points in their last contest, Lovett made sure to put some points up on the board against Wesleyan on Wednesday. The Lions strolled past the Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 56-37. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 61-33 loss the last time these two teams met.

Leading Lovett to victory were Riley Gallagher and Maddy Eford. Gallagher almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards, while Eford posted 16 points and four steals. That's the most rebounds Gallagher has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaughan McKnight, who had six points.

The win got Lovett back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lovett will head out to square off against Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesleyan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Atlanta Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
